One of the hottest drivers on Tour is the Callaway Razr Fit Driver. This golf club has some of the latest technology and materials available in a driver. It’s also one of the most adjustable.
Golfers used to face a somewhat tortuous route to achieving a perfect fit. If you wanted a low, boring ball flight then it required irritating trial and error. Or you would have to visit the local club fitter and golf shop. The case was the same with a draw or fade bias. If you wanted a driver that produced a draw, the club fitter had to try several different tweaks.

Fortunately, it’s easy to make Callaway Razr Fit driver adjustments. The OptiFit Hosel means that you can adjust the face angle to open, square, or closed. The result can mean more fairway hits plus improved distance.
If you tend to hit the ball straight but some extra distance with a draw, you can try the closed setting. If you tend to fade the ball, the closed setting can help you hit more fairways. And if you hit with a pronounced draw then the open setting might be a good idea. The fun comes from Callaway Razr Fit driver adjustments. You can try different settings instantly when you’re on the driving range.
Callaway X Hot Driver Adjustments
There’s more adjustability. The club also comes with OptiFit weights of 12 grams and 2 grams. With some adjustments and experimentation, you can add a draw or neutral bias. Just swap the weights which shifts the clubhead’s center of gravity. An experienced club fitter with a ball launch monitor can look at your statistics and recommend the correct setup. They can help you with the Razr Fit driver adjustments. Or you can just test all the different options and figure out what feels and performs best for your swing.
The driver also provides some impressive technology. The club has a lightweight forged composite crown to provide a low center of gravity for increased distance. The “speed frame face” provides faster ball speed for more distance and a larger sweet spot means remarkable forgiveness.
Professional and amateur golfers are enjoying more distance and greater accuracy with the help of the Callaway Razr driver. Also available is the Callaway RAZR Fit Extreme, which have higher end shafts at a fraction of the cost of custom fitting your club!
When it comes to trying to decide on a driver within the same line of clubs, things can be difficult and differences can sometimes blend together. While both the Callaway X Hot and X Hot N14 drivers share some of the same features, there are still some key differences to keep in mind when trying to select the best fit for you. Let’s take a look at the main features and benefits of both.

The Callaway X Hot N14 driver can be best described as a scaled down version of the X Hot driver. The N14 driver features Callaway’s Speed Face connected to a lightweight, 460cc all titanium designed club head. This thin face delivers excellent ball speed due to a large sweet spot and increased forgiveness. Additionally, the internal club weighting helps reduce side spin on hooks and slices while producing a high launch, low-spin characteristic for optimal ball flight. It features the same grey color crown of the X Hot, but the face has a traditional steel color. Finally, it has a fixed hosel design with a fixed loft and no adjustability.
X Hot Driver
On the other end of the spectrum, the Callaway X Hot driver is a fully adjustable, lightweight, 460cc driver built to deliver fast ball speeds and an aggressive ball flight for maximum distance and forgiveness. The Opti-Fit hosel technology used in this driver allows you to adjust the clubface to an open, square, or closed position to reduce the side spin generated by your mishits or traditional side-to-side trajectory, whether it is a slice, face, hook, or draw. If you adjust the clubface to open or closed, you’ll also change the effective loft of the driver. The loft will be higher (if on a Closed setting) or lower (if on an Open setting) from the standard loft written on the club. The Speed Frame Technology incorporates variable face thickness with a hyperbolic face pattern to create a larger sweet spot which increases ball speeds across the entire face for longer, straighter, and more consistent distance. The overall weight of the club head of the X Hot driver was reduced by using an Ultra-Thin Wall casting design, which is the thinnest technology Callaway has ever used in a driver. The paint design of the club features a dark grey crown with a black colored face, which aids in aligning the clubface to your intended target.
